How to get to us

We pick up from Málaga Airport and Gibraltar Airport every Sunday. Flights should arrive before 12.30 pm at Málaga and 2 pm at Gibraltar. We drop off on Sunday mornings, normally at approximately 9am. Therefore flights should leave after 11 am. There is an Airport at Jerez de la Frontera, with limited flights. We do not pick up from Jerez de la Frontera, however there is car hire available.

By car

Directions to Los Alamos from Malaga

From Malaga. Leave the airport and follow the signs for Torremolinos and Cadiz the N340. This is a dual carriage way. After about 3 Kms on your left you filter off to the right toward Algeciras on the A7 Autopista. This is the Autopista del Mediteraneo. Note that this road currently has three toll booths each charging between 2 and 5 Euros. The journey will take approximately 2.5 hours depending on the traffic. You pass Marbella, Estepona, Gibraltar and Algeciras. After the city of Algeciras the motorway finishes, keep following signs for Tarifa and Cadiz. Eventually after about 40 minutes you get to below the hill top town of Vejer de la Frontera you come on to a dual carriageway, almost immediately turn off to the right this is sign posted Vejer de la Frontera and Los Caños de Meca. There are three roundabouts, follow signs to Los Caños de Meca. After about 8 KM there is a petrol station on your right and then a roundabout. Turn left, the sea should now be on your right hand side. Follow the road for 4km until you arrive at the village of Los Caños de Meca. Go right through the village until you see a left hand turn, sign posted Barbate. Follow the road up the hill and through the forest for approximately 3Km until you see a signpost for San Ambrosio, the road to San Ambrosio is on your left.

Travel through the national park for approx 2Km. Stay on the tarmac road, past a picnic area, over a cattle grid, eventually the tarmac road swings to the right and then turns left into the village of San Ambrosio, go over a cattle grid and turn left, stay on the tarmac road for approximately 30m (there is a wall on your right and the forest on your left), at the end of the wall, when the yellow concrete road starts, immediately turn right down a bumpy dirt track, there are some large green bins in front of you, drive for no more than 20 metres then turn left down another track with houses on either side of you. This track is called “ZARZADILLA” and there is a sign saying Zarzadilla nailed to a tree. Do not go up the hill. Los Alamos is approximately 50 metres down this track on the left past a couple of houses; there is a set of black gates and you will see a Los Alamos plaque and large horse’s head on the wall. Turn in here to our finca.

Directions to Los Alamos from Gibraltar

Take the main road from the border of Gibraltar to the N340 motorway at San Roque and head toward Algeciras and Cadiz. Follow the coast road past Algeciras and Tarifa and Facinas. Eventually you get to below the hill top town of Vejer de la Frontera and you will come on to a dual carriageway, almost immediately turn off to the right and up a hill, this is sign posted Vejer and Los Caños de Meca. There are three roundabouts, at the 3 rd roundabout follow signs to Los Caños de Meca. After about 8 KM there is a petrol station on your right and then a roundabout. Turn left, 2 nd exit to Los Caños, the sea should now be on your right hand side. Follow the road for 4km until you go through the village of Los Caños de Meca. Go right through the village until you see a left hand turn, sign posted Barbate. Follow the road up the hill and through the forest for approximately 3Km until you see a signpost for San Ambrosio, the road to San Ambrosio is on your left.

Directions to Los Alamos from Jerez

From Jerez airport. Leave the airport and join a dual carridgeway heading left toward Jerez. Follow the signs for Jerez and Cadiz. Take the motorway around Jerez, all the time following signs for Cadiz. After about 30 minutes you will need to take the N340 toward Algeciras, Chiclana and Malaga. This road takes you past the towns of Chiclana and Conil.
